Miso × Ellie — The Best of Both Worlds
This is a pairing I’ve been really excited about—not just because of who Miso and Ellie are, but because of what they can produce together.
This litter will include both Mini Goldendoodles and Mini Golden Retrievers, giving families the ability to choose what truly fits their home and lifestyle.

This isn’t just a random pairing.
Ellie is third-generation in my program (granddaughter of Mango)
Miso is second-generation in my program (son of Lucy × Rooster)
That means these lines have already been selectively bred, raised, and evaluated over multiple generations for temperament, structure, health, and trainability.
This is how you create consistency—not guesswork.

What’s the Difference?
Within this litter, you’ll see two distinct types:
Mini Goldendoodles — straight, wavy, and curly coats with that classic Goldendoodle look
Mini Golden Retrievers — consistently straighter, flatter coats with a more traditional Golden Retriever appearance
The Mini Golden Retrievers will have that cleaner, more natural coat, meaning less grooming overall, less of the “doodle upkeep,” and more of that timeless Golden Retriever look.

Why Mini Golden Retrievers Are Getting So Much Attention
These really hit a sweet spot for a lot of families.
They offer the heart and temperament of a Golden Retriever, a smaller and more manageable size, lower coat maintenance, and a very balanced, easy-to-live-with personality.
And something else that matters—
Because these dogs come from a Golden Retriever × Poodle pairing, they benefit from what’s often called hybrid vigor.
This means a broader genetic base, often improved overall resilience, and the potential for longer, healthier lifespans.
While no dog is ever guaranteed to be free from health concerns, it’s well known that Golden Retrievers can be more prone to certain issues, including cancers. By thoughtfully incorporating Poodle genetics—and fully health testing both parents—we’re intentionally working toward stronger, more balanced dogs overall.
